God give them strength

Earlier in the week Josh and I got calls from his dad and stepmom about this occurance at their local church.  We've been to visit with them and attended church services with them and met the pastor, his wife and in passing his daughter.  I'm truly saddened by such a senseless accident because people weren't careful enough to check the chamber for a round before passing the gun around.  I feel aweful for the family and for the congregation of the church.  I pray that God gives this family strength, I pray that He helps Hannah toward a positive and uplifting outcome.  I hope her condition improves and that she has a full recovery.  God only knows what I would do if this had been my own child.  I'm sad and angry at the same time.  How do you forgive the people who did this to your child?  How do you tell them it's not their fault?  The pastor can not set foot in his church yet.  God only knows if he ever will. 

I hope the pastor gets himself together and brings together his church community.  He needs their support and they need his strength and leadership.
