Not much going on. Same old same old, Eric is still working on his potty training skills and looks like I'll be changing out bed sheets til he gets the hang of getting up when he has to go or holding it til he wakes in the morning. I'm not waking him to make him go because I'm afraid he won't get back to sleep. I figure when he gets tired of wetting the bed he'll stop and learn to get up when he needs to or hold it til he gets up in the morning. Would be nice to have him fully trained by the time we see Josh for his first school break. Was talking to a friend of mine earlier about the whole potty training situation and she suggested I cut of liquids an hour and a half before bedtime in order to keep him from having an over-full bladder during the night.
As always school work is going to throw me for a loop. Time to get my 3rd paper for class hashed out and turned in and I'm just NOT feeling it. I need to get my act together and keep on trucking cause I'm gonna screw myself if I have to keep retaking classes. I have so much shit to get done its not even funny. Josh starts working at his new job Monday evening/night and he'll be sleeping during the day. I'm hoping I'll be able to get this paper taken care of before it has to be turned in. Wednesday I have a play date scheduled for 2ish depending on Rian and her schedule. As of Friday Josh and I are officially civilians! No more boat bullshit, no more command bullshit, no more military ass kissing. Funny in all my time in the military I have 3 or 4 good friends I talk to on a regular basis. Everyone else? They can all go eat shit and die. Life is going to be rough for us for a while but Josh and I will figure it out. I think that the last few days has been the most couples time Josh and I has spent together in a really long time. It's been nice and it's going to make things that much harder when he's working nights and then gone for school. I guess I should be thankful it's not a deployment.
Funny I titled this particular blog let the rain keep falling but didn't talk at all about the weather we've been having here that is very much needed. We've had some brush/forest fires in close proximity to us and I have to say that the smoke from them has been damaging to a lot of the local area. The last two or three days we've had some heavy rain fall, I'm sure the firefighters are thankful for the help, they just wish it wasn't accompanied by lightening that gets the cycle started all over again. My prayer for them is that they can get the blaze under control and that no one has gotten hurt or will get hurt from this entire situation.
